Succession Planning
Decide it together, while you can.

Land that's been in the family for generations deserves a plan. The earlier you start, the more options you have.

When You'd Call Me

  • We need to decide who gets the land, and when
  • Some of the family farm and some don't
  • We want to sort our wills properly
  • We need a value to plan around

Succession

What I Do

  • Map the holding: folios, houses, leases, wayleaves and entitlements
  • Set out the options: lifetime transfer, partnership, leasing or a will
  • Land value guidance so everyone works from the same figures
  • Run a structured family meeting, if it would help
  • Brief your solicitor and accountant, so their time is spent well

Outcome

What You Get

  • A written summary the family and professionals can all use
  • Questions for your accountant on tax reliefs, stamp duty and Fair Deal
  • A plan made calmly, not in a hurry

Family meetings are facilitation, not formal mediation. If you need an accredited mediator or legal advice, I'll refer you.

Tell Me What's Going On

Fill in the form or call me. I'll come back to you promptly, and everything you share stays confidential.

I give practical advice, not legal, tax or financial advice. I'll tell you when you need a solicitor, accountant or registered valuer, and help you brief them.
